October is supposed to be spooky right?! Because apparently I’m afraid of pumpkins lol

It’s not really October until you’ve had a chance to play in a pumpkin patch!😉

I’ve been going to the same place, Carpinitos Bros, every Fall since I was itty bitty and it’s so cool to see how much the place has changed as it’s gotten bigger. I’ve always been OBSESSED with mazes so I always begged to get to go to the corn mazes. (Although the pineapple maze in Hawaii has a very special place in my heart since it’s open year round.) Now there’s also hay rides, animals, a farmers market, and of course pumpkins of every size & color imaginable! Seriously, it’s a Fall dream come true.

A little confession though ~I didn’t buy any big pumpkins this year because I grew my own! Having a garden at home is so so fun and I’m always the one wanting to experiment with growing new things. Pumpkins was a total hit this year! So my trip to the patch was really just to play and to get some different varieties to decorate with.

As summer was wrapping up this year I got myself organized (no surprise there lol) and took the time to figure out what kinds & colors of sweaters I was going to want. Last year I somehow ended up in the dead of Winter with no sweaters and it was a disaster!!

My list had a bunch of the classics ~white, black, beige~ and then I went shopping and found this cozy top that literally covered it all in one swoop. SOLD.

The scallop hem is totally fun but I sized up to a medium so the crop wasn’t crazy. Paired with high-waisted jeans and it’s the perfect length. I’ll never ever get tired of blush so luckily I had this beanie from last year. I’ve linked up one similar!
Have you visited a pumpkin patch yet?! Let me know in the comments if you have and what your favorite things to do there are!
