Off Shoulder Knit Sweater

Now that Spring is finally in full swing I’ve been able to start spending evenings outside. One of the biggest reasons I love warm weather and sun is that I don’t have to be cooped up inside anymore. That means I want to be able to soak in every minute of good weather. Nights can get chilly though! Even in the desert the temperature would drop like crazy as soon as the sun went down. Luckily I’ve had this casual knit sweater for a few years and it has been the perfect solution!

Missguided has the most incredible line of off shoulder knit sweater and dresses. They’re so simple but so cute! They’re also totally functional. Even with a big-ish knit they keep you nice and warm. The wide neckline makes it off shoulder and slouchy which is great for casual nights with friends. I personally love to wear mine when we’re hanging out around the fire pit. (With my glass of pineapple cider lol) They also have a range of colors so you can figure out which one would go best with what you already have. My sweater is grey which is awesome because it goes with white when I’m in a bright mood but also with my black yoga’s when I’m going super casual. I also have the knit sweater dress in pink which is great for that winter to spring transition time.

Other outfit deets from the pics above include one of the very few pairs of high-waisted shorts that I actually like, Charlotte Russe is one of the first places I look for any kind of new denim! I also found my blush flip-flops at a local store but these Nine West slides and these Kelly & Katie sandals are super cute blush options. I own the Kelly & Katie pair in a different color and they are one of my most worn pair of sandals!

I’m not a big wine person but I LOVE hard ciders so I like to pretend that I fit in and drink my cider out of cute wine glasses. You can’t really see it in the pics but my glass says ‘Living in Zin’. I get asked about it every time people come over! Unfortunately it was a gift but I did find some super cute and funny options online.

Good Day-Bad Day-Don’t Even Ask

It’s not really drinking alone if the dog is home

As you can see my Piggy joined in the pics again. She was SO good yesterday with a bunch of weird things going on so she totally deserved all the attention. I can’t believe we adopted her a little over 6 months ago now. She’s such a part of the family and I’m awed by how cuddly she is and how smart she is. Her brother may be the most easy-going dog ever but she’s a solid second place! Even when she tries to drink my cider and crawl into my lap lol
