Fourth Of July Outfit Inspo

The Fourth of July has always been my favorite holiday. Which is totally weird, I know. People always take a second after I say that because it’s not the obvious answer of Christmas or a birthday. But for most of my life the Fourth was celebrated the exact same way-in a small town, surrounded by family, with a parade and barbecue and fireworks. It’s always so much fun and a day full of laughter with people I love. It has also always needed an over-the-top red, white, and blue outfit, Fourth of July outfit to match. I have pictures of myself growing up year after year in various outfits that matched whatever my style was that year. It’s hilarious.

Now that I’m older my style has gotten a little toned down, but I still let the colors shine. I found this red top a while back and fell in love with the tie details on the sleeve. I knew right away it was going to be the base of this years outfit. Red can be scary for a lot of people but this is the day to wear it boldly and without fear! Unfortunately my top was a surprise clearance bin find but I’ve found a bunch of other super cute red blouses for you!

Once you’ve got your red top picked out, it’s time to add white into the outfit. I love these high-waist shorts from Charlotte Russe. Especially for only $20!!!

And then you need to finish off with blue.  If you really like the two-tones look-try this Chelsea28 Saddle Bag.

If you’re day calls for something on the nicer side-go with this Rebecca Minkoff clutch.

Of if you pack your schedule full and need something big to get you through the day-you need this Vince Camuto Tote.

Now you’ve got your red, white, and blue so you’re ready to take on the holiday!!

What are your traditions for the day? I love hearing all about how people spend it, where they always go, and where the biggest fireworks are! Let me know in the comments!!
