I spent the past weekend curled up with my pups in front of the fire, hiding out from the pouring rain & crazy wind. Which means it’s officially Fall in Seattle, and officially the time of the year where I’m going to complain about being cold literally ALL OF THE TIME. It’s no secret that I thrive in the sun and dread the rest of it but come Fall & Winter, I like to make sure everyone within earshot is aware that I am cold and miserable. If I’m suffering through it I’m taking everyone with me😒
With a lifetime of experience though I’ve got systems in place to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to try to stay as warm as possible. This gets harder when I have to go in public and look presentable (what do you mean I can’t walk around in a heated blanket?!) and that’s where finding the biggest, coziest scarves comes into play. Blanket scarves I’m SO on board with. I’ve got drawers overflowing with fluffy scarves of every shape & color, all just waiting to do their duty when the temperature drops.

Two weekends ago was absolutely hectic and I’ve been trying to catch up on sleep ever since. Those of you who follow me on Twitter & Insta saw that I went over to Pullman, Washington for College Gameday at Washington State University!! I got like a total of 5 hours of sleep over two days but it was so much fun and so worth it. I’ll have a post up later this week talking all about it😀 I spent this past weekend getting back on track and blog posts should be up regularly from here on out! Lots of fun Holiday stuff coming up, but let me know in the comments if there’s anything you want to see!

Hey Alison! I too will always compain about being cold, but I love it! I love fall and winter but have Raynud’s phenomenon and if I’m cold my fingers and toes go stark white and numb to the touch, so it’s odd I love such cold weather. That being said, scarfs are my best friend. The keep me warm and are so cute, I especially love the large and chunky plaid pattern. Fun post!
Cheers xx
