Carefree & Coffee

We’re firmly settled into a routine finally, with both the hectic-ness of moving and getting used to a new city out of the way. That means I’ve found some GREAT walking/running trails and I’m now researching what I want my next race to be.

I tend to have no motivation to work out if I don’t have a ‘goal’ or something to be working out for so finding a race is super important. I’ll probably start out with a 5k or 10k sometime this Fall, then ramp up for some big ones next year.

Spokane has a HUGE race in May called Bloomsday & I’ve always wanted to run it. It’s a 12k known for having a massive hill right in the middle of it!! It’s super hard but next year is my year😉 I’d also loved to do another half marathon, which would I’d totally be in shape for next summer if I manage to survive Bloomsday in the spring lol

Since I don’t have to worry about ‘office’ wear I like to have casual athleisure that I can hang out in all day. That means good enough quality for a run/walk/workout, cute enough for errands, and comfy enough for hours in front of a computer.

Over the last couple years I’ve really fallen in love with Old Navy’s activewear collection. They’ve totally stepped it up and have some GREAT items now. It’s also surprisingly good quality for the price. I’m used to Zella prices for what I usually like so it’s refreshing to be happy with Old Navy gear at Old Navy prices😂

Unfortunately the tee I’m wearing is no longer in stock BUT the sports bra is available is a bunch of colors! It’s not gonna give you the support needed for anything intense, it’s perfect though for a mild-medium day. It’s insanely comfortable!!

ps. Tina usually helps out with these athleisure posts because she loves being outside. But instead of working she decided to take a nap in the sun and then go get attention from other people😂. I know all pictures are better with a pup so sorry lol!!
