One of the things I’m most excited about living in Spokane now, is how much time I’ll be able to spend outside. There’s SO much to do in and around the city!!

The original plan had been to start making lists of everything we wanted check out when we were biding time waiting for our house to sell…..yeah that didn’t happen. Since our house sold so quickly we didn’t get a chance to get organized before we moved.

So after getting everything and everyone moved, and then unpacked, we finally had a chance to start exploring. The really cool thing about the location & size of Spokane is that there are really cool hikes literally in and around the city. We’ve already checked out a couple that are just minutes away from our rental house. They’re real hikes through woods and everything but so close that we can easily fit them in to our daily schedule.

But that isn’t our only option. There’s also full mountains and mountain ranges an hour or so away in multiple directions. I can’t wait to get started on those once we have a little more time, and get back into shape🙈

Any kind of work out schedule was thrown out months ago! I’m just now getting to the point of being settled enough to get back into a routine. I so so love how easy it’s going to be to be able to regularly run and hike outdoors this Spring and Summer. Tina, who was not so helpful taking these pictures, is not totally sure about this getting in shape thing. We did find a dog park nearby that she LOVES, but she’s also not in shape enough to go play every single day yet😂

Yellow is generally a color I avoid but this tone & combo are super pretty and flattering! I can’t get enough of Old Navy Active for cute and actually comfortable workout wear. And I definitely needed to stock up for all the new adventures!
